Built around the format you're actually writing
From 2026 entry onwards, UCAS replaced the single free-text essay with three set questions. You still get 4,000 characters in total, split across them however suits you, with a minimum of 350 characters per answer. The three questions are:
- Why do you want to study this course or subject?
- How have your qualifications and studies helped you prepare for it?
- What else have you done to prepare outside formal education, and why are those experiences useful?

I won't write it for you
Admissions tutors can tell, UCAS runs similarity checks across every statement submitted, and a statement that isn't yours falls apart at interview anyway. So that is not what this is.
